Built in the early 14th century, the house hosted Indonesian pilgrims coming to Makkah for Hajj for seventy years. The Joukhdar family later lived in it, and the house was then passed on to other families. It has a facade of remarkable teal green rawasheen that shine with jewel-tone brilliance in the sun.
